Monroe Through Time
A luncheon will be held on Jan. 7 at noon at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library, 733 Monroe Tpk., Monroe, to celebrate the release of the local history book Monroe Through Time II. It will also include a display of Colonial-era artifacts and a screening of The Lost Cave of Monroe. Proceeds will benefit the Monroe Historical Society. Tickets are $35. The New Canaan Historical Society’s Orientalism in American Art and the Silvermine Art Colony exhibit will run Jan. 7 through March 30.
